From soil moisture monitoring, drought index calculation index to water body monitoring, Earth observation plays a crucial role in monitoring drought conditions by providing timely and accurate information about various drought indicators. By utilizing these data, stakeholders can make informed decisions to minimize the adverse effects of drought on ecosystem, and water supplies.
